The annual Village of Lombard Senior Fair—whose roots began at the Lombard Village Hall—was held Oct. 7 at the Madison Meadow Athletic Center (MMAC). Over 70 businesses, service organizations and agencies participated this year, including a Secretary of State’s Office mobile DMV and the Lombard VFW Lilac Post 5815, among others. At one booth (left to right) Bob, Rose, Sharon, Cindy and Nancy from the Lombard Garden Club challenged visitors with a gardening quiz. According to the village, the fair “has remained focused on what matters most: helping holder adults and their families connect with resources, information and services that can make a difference in their everyday lives.” (Photo by Jane Charmelo)
