Vera Elizabeth Graham (née Graumanz), age 89, of Lombard, passed onto the Lord on Aug. 12, 2026.
She was the loving wife of Lynn; beloved mother of Marcia Catalano, the late Greg, the late Kevin, Carole (Mark) Roberts, Jeff (Ann) and Tim; adored grandmother of Lisa, Mason, Austin, Timothy, Michael, Alex, Aaron, Melissa, Michele, and Jake; great grandmother of six; cherished daughter of the late Emil and the late Ruth Graumenz; caring sister of the late Orville and Roy (Pat); dear aunt of Tom, the late Dave, Sara, Tracy and Scott; caring sister-in-law of George (Jane) Graham and dear aunt of Kathy.
Vera was the owner/operator of a beauty salon in Altamont, Illinois. She managed International Time and Art for many years. She raised six children.
Vera was very active at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lombard, where she worked in the Sunday School. Vera volunteered at the World Relief, Repeat Boutique in Wheaton, Illinois, for many years.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, Aug. 20, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 215 South Lincoln St., Lombard. Private interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, Oakbrook Terrace.
